Kathy Alexander
Kathy Alexander has been involved in Daycare for over 30 years. She has been involved in early care at the state, national and international levels. She does training and is a mentor to teachers, parents, and mentees and is a frequent presenter at state and national conferences. A few years ago, even with all her experience, someone decided that all the child care providers needed a degree. She is going back to school to get her degree. There are many people out there doing training but it is just the same old material. She wants to set up more effective training for others based on her vast experience to provide quality care for the kids. She will be helping the providers and herself. She has been involved in Quality Rated. She uses the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards at her daycare.
